Fields of Mistria begins after an earthquake leaves the quiet village of Mistria in need of help. In exchange for assisting with the recovery, the player receives an overgrown farm near the town and a chance to build a new life there. Restoring the homestead is only one part of the story. Strange magic has also begun flowing through the land, connecting ordinary farming and village life with ancient ruins, mysterious creatures, and secrets hidden beneath Mistria.
Rebuilding More Than a Farm
Days can be divided between growing crops, caring for animals, fishing, gathering materials, cooking, crafting, and improving the farm. Seasons change what can be grown and bring different festivals, quests, and activities. Animals can also be bred to produce rare color variants, giving ranching its own form of progression. Meanwhile, helping with repairs and requests gradually restores parts of the town and increases Mistria’s renown.
Everyone in Mistria Has a Story
The village is populated by more than 30 residents who follow their own routines and develop relationships with the player. Regular conversations, gifts, quests, festivals, and personal events gradually reveal more about them. Twelve characters can become romantic partners, with relationships able to progress toward marriage and starting a family.
Daily life can involve:

Combat becomes part of exploration, while unlockable spells can assist both with adventures and everyday farm work. Skills and perks improve as different activities are performed, giving farming, mining, fishing, and other routines benefits beyond simply earning money.
Fields of Mistria ties these systems together through the restoration of the town. A morning spent watering crops can lead to an afternoon underground, an evening festival, or a conversation that advances someone’s personal story. Progress is therefore spread across the entire community rather than concentrated on a single objective. The farm grows, relationships deepen, new areas become useful, and the mystery surrounding Mistria develops alongside an increasingly busy everyday life.
