Vesna becomes involved in collecting these seals, while the Traveler investigates suspicious transactions and an underground operation at the Northland Bank. The discoveries lead to questions about Rhinedottir’s experiments and the Tsaritsa’s intentions. Later, the Mirror of Remembrance reveals events from Pierro’s past, helping explain his motivations and the origins of the plan against Ronova.
A Plan That Depends on Timing
The storyline combines investigation sequences with battles and environmental challenges. Players must follow several connected missions before the confrontation with the Ruler of Death becomes possible.

What the Fatui’s Victory Changes
The final battle reveals how the Tsaritsa intends to exploit the restrictions placed on Ronova’s authority. Using the collected Gnoses, she slows time around Rhinedottir, preventing her from restoring Ronova’s victims before the Heavenly Principles detect the violation. Ronova consequently loses her divine authority, allowing Pierro and the Traveler to confront her weakened form.
The adventure contains six connected story missions across two acts. Progression follows completed objectives rather than independent combat levels or character upgrades.
Ronova is defeated, but her ultimate fate remains unknown. Her actions also affect the Celestial Nails across Teyvat, creating problems beyond Snezhnaya. The story ends with the Traveler facing the consequences of the confrontation and the possibility of further conflict involving the Heavenly Principles.
