Similiar games

Fortune Mill is a single-player incremental game in which the player is trapped inside a facility controlled by unusual creatures. The main objective is to earn $1,000,000 in each section and pay the required bribe to continue toward the exit. The story is presented through short interactions rather than long cutscenes. Progress depends on participating in games of chance, purchasing upgrades and finding connections between the different income systems.

Earning the First Million

The opening room introduces the basic progression loop through a dartboard. The player throws darts at targets to generate money and then spends the earnings on improvements such as larger targets, higher rewards and automatic actions. Scratch-off tickets, lottery mechanics and other activities become available later. Although luck affects individual results, permanent upgrades gradually increase the speed and reliability of income production.

Rooms, Activities and Shared Upgrades

Fortune Mill has five main rooms rather than a traditional sequence of platforming or combat levels. Each room contains its own activity, upgrades and creature that can eventually be recruited. Later sections introduce systems such as pachinko machines, gacha rewards, wheels, fishing-related mechanics and additional gambling-style minigames. Progress made in one room can influence another, so players must consider how upgrades interact instead of treating every activity as a separate challenge.

The controls change slightly depending on the current machine or minigame, but most actions are performed with the mouse:

  • Aim and click to throw darts.
  • Click or drag to scratch lottery tickets.
  • Select upgrade buttons to improve income.
  • Drop balls into pachinko machines.
  • Activate automated workers and repeated actions.
  • Move between unlocked rooms to manage different systems.

Automation and Long-Term Progress

Manual actions are important at the beginning of each room, but automation becomes the main source of progress later. Players can recruit creatures, purchase automatic production and improve the frequency of repeated actions. The central challenge is deciding whether to buy an immediate income upgrade or save money for an effect that supports several rooms. Some combinations create synergies that multiply earnings, reduce waiting periods or improve the value of other activities.

There are no conventional missions with enemies, checkpoints or separate difficulty stages. Each room functions as a progression phase with a larger economy and additional mechanics. After earning the required amount and completing the base run, players can access New Game+, which raises the financial targets and upgrade costs while adding further completion goals. The game is completed by developing all available systems, reaching the required totals and escaping the Fortune Mill.
